EQAC
Establishment and Development of Quality Assurance Centres in Azerbaijan Universities
EQAC stands for Establishment and Development of Quality Assurance Centres in Azerbaijan Universities. According to project information published by partner institutions, it was an Erasmus+ project coordinated by Baku Business University and ran from October 2017 to October 2021. Its main goal was to establish and develop Quality Assurance Centers in Azerbaijani universities in order to improve the quality of education, align institutional practices with ESG standards, and strengthen integration into the European higher education environment. The project was funded under the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education programme and involved Azerbaijani and European partners. Reported outcomes included the establishment of Quality Assurance Centers in 11 partner universities, updates to curricula and syllabi in line with ESG standards, and training activities on quality culture, student-oriented teaching, assessment, and quality management systems.
